Monstera Adonsonii thrives in bright, indirect light but can tolerate lower light conditions. Avoid direct sunlight as it can scorch the leaves. It is ideal for indoor growing and can also be placed in a shaded outdoor area.

Climate

Monstera Adonsonii prefers a warm, humid environment. Ideal temperatures range between 18-25°C. Protect the plant from cold drafts and temperatures below 10°C.

Soil Type

Use a well-draining potting mix. A combination of peat, pine bark, and perlite is ideal. The soil should remain moist but not waterlogged, as this can lead to root rot.

Fertilizer

Fertilise your Monstera Adonsonii every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser. Reduce feeding during autumn and winter when the plant's growth slows down.

Keep the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged. Water thoroughly when the top 2-3 cm of soil feels dry. Reduce watering in winter when the plant’s growth slows down.

Pruning
