Alternanthera dentata
“Little Ruby” is a great compact ground cover ,border plant or little hedge , growing only to about 30cm and spreading around 70cm.
It has striking burgundy foliage which makes it a real stand out in the garden.
Grow well in full sun or part shade. Water well in hot dry conditions. Frost sensitive.
If you are looking for something smaller try “Little Maroon”, another variety of dentata but only grows to 15cm.
