Plant Growing Tips

Where to Grow

Grevillea 'Coconut Ice' prospers in full sun. It is ideal for growing in gardens, as a feature plant, or as a hedge. Ensure the location has well-draining soil and good air circulation to prevent disease.

Climate

Grevillea 'Coconut Ice' prefers a warm, temperate to subtropical climate. It can tolerate light frost once established but should be protected from severe frost and cold winds. Ideal temperatures range between 10-30°C.

Soil Type

Use a well-draining soil. Sandy or loamy soils with good organic matter are ideal. This plant is tolerant of poor soils but will thrive in richer conditions. Ensure the soil remains moderately moist but not waterlogged.

Fertilizer

Fertilise your Grevillea 'Coconut Ice' with a low-phosphorus, slow-release fertiliser in spring and autumn. Avoid using high-phosphorus fertilisers, as Grevilleas are sensitive to phosphorus.
