Tabebuia palmeri
Tabebuia palmeri is a deciduous medium sized tree with stunning pink trumpet shaped flowers in late Winter and Spring.
It will grow 7-10 metres in a residential situation and has a spread of around 6m making it a great Summer shade tree.
Tabebuia is a great choice for the Southeast Queensland region as they enjoy a warm frost free climate with a dry winter.
They are drought tolerant once established and are relatively pest and disease resistant.
They will tolerate most types of soils but prefer a fertile well drained situation.
