Allamanda produce large clear yellow flowers throughout Summer and Autumn .
They prefer a warmer climate of Sub-tropical or tropical regions.
Makes a great specimen over a fence and should be pruned and fertilised at the start of spring to maintain shape and encourage new growth.
Allamandas are frost and cold sensitive and will drop leaves during the winter if it gets too cold for them.
Other varieties include “Jamaican Sunset” which is creamy brown and “Cherry Ripe” which is a light maroon colour.
