Small white cup shaped flowers are borne along the stems from late winter to early summer.
The weeping tea tree is fast growing ,low maintenance and useful as a specimen plant screen or hedge.
Drought and flood tolerant.

The Weeping Tea Tree thrives in full sun to partial shade. It can be grown in a variety of locations including gardens, pots, and as a feature tree in landscapes. Choose a location with good air circulation to prevent disease.
Leptospermum madidum prefers a warm to temperate climate. It can tolerate light frost once established but should be protected from severe frost and cold winds. Ideal temperatures range between 10-30°C.
Use a well-draining soil. Sandy or loamy soils with good organic matter are ideal. This plant is tolerant of poor soils but will thrive in richer conditions. Ensure the soil remains moderately moist but not waterlogged.
Fertilise your Weeping Tea Tree annually in spring with a balanced, slow-release fertiliser. Additional feeding can be done during the growing season with a liquid fertiliser if the plant appears to need a boost.
