Chlorophytum comosum also known as the “spider plant” or “ribbon plant” is one of the all time favourite houseplants that has been around for decades.

The spider plant does best in a bright position away from any direct afternoon sun that may scorch the leaves.

It is capable of growing in low light situations but will be slower, leggier and not produce as many pups .

It looks its best when elevated in a hanging basket or stand to show off the pups that hang off the main plant.

Let the plant dry out before re watering thoroughly.
